PROJECT “Enhancing Territorial Resilience in the South Adriatic – SA RESILIENCE”

“Resilience” is a project funded by the European Union under the Interreg IPA South Adriatic 2021–2027 programme.

Main objective

Interreg Resilience aims to improve the efficiency of water resource management and civil protection in the South Adriatic area, in order to respond to risks caused by climate change, emergency situations, and water scarcity. The use of innovative technologies and the strengthening of human and infrastructure capacities will make the regions more resilient.

Main project activities – expected results

  • A geo-catalogue and analytical information on water sources and forest fire hazards.
  • New and enhanced human and technical resources in Albania, the Apulia Region, the Molise Region, and Montenegro.
  • A joint strategy and protocol for emergencies related to water and fires.
