“Regional Water Supply for the Montenegrin Coast” Ltd is a project partner in the project “Enhancing Water Management for Greater Climate Change Resilience in the Adriatic-Ionian Region – AQUA.”
The international AQUA project, co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg IPA ADRION programme, brings together utility companies and public institutions from countries in the Adriatic and Ionian Sea region. The main objective of the project is to strengthen the resilience of local water systems to climate change, water scarcity, water quality degradation, and the impacts of flooding, through the development of integrated strategies and innovative technological solutions.
The AQUA project promotes the exchange of best practices and the development of scalable solutions that can effectively and sustainably address the shared challenges faced by partner countries.
Project budget: €1,671,999.60
Interreg IPA ADRION funding: €1,421,199.65
Project duration: 36 months (September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2027)
