The Regional Waterworks of the Montenegrin Coast was honored to host a visit from the German Federal Minister for Ecology, Climate Protection, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety of the Federal Republic of Germany Mr Karsten Schneider, who was on a working visit to Montenegro with his delegation.
Accompanied by Mr Damjan Ćulafuć, minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the Northern Reagion of Montenegro and his associates, his excellency Mr Schneider visited the Bolje Sestre spring.
Representatives of the Regional Waterworks for the Montenegrin Coast briefed the distinguished guests on the importance of preserving this spring as the primary water resource for the coastal region. They also outlined activities aimed at ensuring its long-term protection and sustainable management. Particular emphasis was placed on the challenges of preserving natural ecosystems and strengthening international cooperation in the fields of water and environmental protection.
As a token of gratitude for the visit and shown interest in improvement of cooperation, Mr Krsto Radovic, the CEO, has presented Mr Schneider with a special gift.
The visit was held in a constructive atmosphere and promoted the exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of ecology and natural resource management. The occasion was used to express mutual readiness for further strengthening cooperation between the institutions of Montenegro and the Federal Republic of Germany, particularly in the areas of sustainable development and environmental protection.
The Regional Waterworks for the Montenegrin Coast remains permanently dedicated to the preservation of natural resources and the enhancement of water supply systems, while adhering to the highest environmental standards and principles of sustainable development.
